WHO Who is this book for?
Concert Blast Experiences is a book for the music fan that enjoys reading behind-the- scene stories, anyone who would like to get into podcasting or media (especially the music format), and those who enjoy how people can achieve accomplishments from an idea.
WHAT What is this book about?
This book contains over 100 short stories about the behind-the-scene adventures of the podcast, Concert Blast! Concert Blast Experiences covers their concert and interview experiences with numerous rock stars and various other music genres, from their early years of growing up in the 70’s, creating their podcast in 2005, obtaining media privileges in the music world, the mistakes, the fun times, and many unexpected experiences that Mike Arnold, Brian Hasbrook, and Tom Thompson had on their many adventures.
WHERE Where is Concert Blast! based?
Concert Blast is based out of the Nashville, TN area. Although most of the stories are from this area, there are also stories from their experiences in Atlanta, Memphis, Little Rock, Louisville, and Evansville.
WHEN When did these adventures take place?
Concert Blast Experiences begins in the mid 70’s as Mike Arnold, Brian Hasbrook, Tom Thompson, and their friends were growing up as teens. Then skipping to the beginning of the podcast in 2005, Concert Blast Experiences relates encounters through the year 2009.
HOW How did Concert Blast get started?
Just like anything else, Concert Blast! was started with an idea from a passion and love for a particular hobby, the fulfillment of a need, and a desire to help others. Mike, Brian, and Tom felt the need to share their stories from the depth of their love for music. Although they initially felt that radio was the best avenue for them to reach music fans, the best way to start was through a new medium Mike Arnold discovered in 2005 - Podcasting.
