The CMA Festival of 2009 was one of the largest crowds that Nashville, TN has seen in quite a while. Every year country music fans come in from all over the country, and the world, to enjoy several days of music and parties from their favorite country music artists. During this year’s events, most of the concerts were free. The weather was nice (with the exception of the one storm at the stadium on opening night). Below are several pics from the week of the CMA Fest 2009. ENJOY!!!

When Ratt arrived in Nashville around 10pm Wednesday evening (the night before the scheduled concert) , one would think they would head straight to hotel but these guys went and rehearsed for about four hours to reacquaint former member John Corabi (who was filling in for Carlos Carvazo) and up to last weekend Stephen Pearcy was touring solo. So I’m guessing they probably got to sleep around 3:30am Thursday and had a radio show interview at noon Thursday.
If these guys were tired at all you sure could not tell by the energy level that hit the stage. From start to finish the set was boom-boom-boom song after song with very little chatter (just the way I prefer). Stephen Pearcy’s voice was exceptional as he screeched and stomped commanding the Wildhorse stage all night long. Warren DeMartini ‘s playing was phenomenal mastering all leads without effort. Bobby Blotzer, as always, anchored the bands’ sound while Robbie Crane on bass and John Corabi on guitar kept the rhythm churning all night long.
