It’s the time of the year when Concert Blast covers the CMA Music Festival held in Nashville, TN during the second week of June. This is the photo coverage of the first of four nights of the stadium concerts. Concert Blast photographer Brian Hasbrook took photos throughout the night and here is his work from the concerts that took place on Thursday, June 7th 2012. Mark Miller of Sawyer Brown In Concert - CMA Music Festival
Concert Blast returned to the CMA Music Festival in Nashville, TN once again to attend and cover one of the best and most organized music festivals in the world. The CMA Music Festival is a week long celebration of country music which brings in people from all over the world. There are fan club parties, free concerts in the streets and at Riverfront Park, the hotels and restaurants are packed with tourists, and who knows what star will make their way to the stage in the downtown bars. We always do our best to cover the Stadium shows of the top selling country acts, but we also try to participate in the other special events. This podcast covers the unique events. An interview with three stars from the History Channel’s hit TV show Swamp People (Troy, Jacob, and Chase Landry), Coverage of Little Big Town fans, Detroit’s country band Cold City Cowboys, and Sawyer Brown’s concert at Riverfront Park. CMA Music Festival - Riverfront Park Crowd for Sawyer Brown
Every year since 2007, Concert Blast has made a trip to the CMA Music Festival held in Nashville, TN during the second week of June. We always try to cover every night of the stadium concerts, but we always try to cover some of the special events. Three Dog Night In Concert
On Thursday, May 17, Three Dog Night returned to Nashville, TN to perform a Sold-Out concert at the Wildhorse Saloon. Mike Arnold and special guest host Gary Bell was there for a concert review. Steve Winwood In Concert - Nashville, TN
On Friday May 18th 2012, Steve Winwood with special guests Michael Franti & Spearhead rocked the Sold-Out amphiteater, The Woods at Fontanel, for a Radner Lake Fundraiser. Steve Winwood with Michael Franti & Spearhead Concert Fans
On Friday May 18th, Steve Winwood and his opening act Michael Franti & Spearhead performed a benefit concert for Radner Lake in Nashville, TN. The Woods Amphitheater at Fontanel was extremely packed. If the show wasn’t completely Sold-Out, it was very close. In fact the general admission area in the back sold-out days before the concert and there were only a few reserved seats available. Jack White In Concert - Nashville, TN - Ryman Auditorium 5/15/12
Jack White returned to the Ryman Auditorium once again to thrill his many Nashville, TN fans for two Sold-Out shows, Tuesday 5/15/12 and Wednesday 5/16/12. Jack White’s current tour provides music from his solo efforts as well as his other musical projects which he has created. Concert Blast friend (and huge Jack White fan) was lucky enough to purchase a ticket for the Tuesday night concert (both shows sold out in about 10 minutes) and wanted to write a review for us. Memphis In May Beale Street Music Festival - From the Photo Pit
Concert Blast returned to Day Two of the Memphis in May Beale Street Music Festival. The team of Mike Arnold, Tom Thompson, and our stand in photographer/helper, Steve Shattuck continued the podcast coverage for Saturday.
Saturday’s podcast festivities included performances from Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Buddy Guy, The Cult, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Al Green, and Jane’s Addiction.
Not only does this podcast include performance clips and our commentary of the performances, but Mike also enjoyed talking with some of the fans in attendance as well as a conversation with the phenomenal blues/rock guitarist, Kenny Wayne Shepherd. Enjoy the blog and podcast review!
