Stryper In Concert - Michael Sweet
On Friday March 18th, team members from Concert Blast were on hand to report on the Stryper concert at the Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville. Brian Hasbrook and James Downing produced a fun audio podcast of the evening discussing the band, talking with fans before and after the show, and walking through the setlist as they discuss the concert review.

Winter Jam 2011 Nashville, TN
Mike Arnold and Brian Hasbrook of Concert Blast were on hand at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN to enjoy and review the Winter Jam 2011 concert. This was a night of various styles of Contemporary Christian music and Mike and Brian loved this evening. With ten acts performing short sets of their new and popular tunes. The acts on the Nashville tour stop were; Newsboys, Kutless, David Crowder Band, Francesca Battistelli, Newsong, Red, Sidewalk Prophets, Chris August, Jason Castro, and several guest appearances from Christian Rapper, KJ52. The Winter Jam 2011 Tour packed the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN and Brian Hasbrook was on hand to provide his photography skills. The concert touring season seems to run from the middle of March through the begining of December. While we wait for the artists to hit the road or the Festivals to crank up the music for the large crowds, I decided this would be a great time to re-post our most popular Music Discussion Podcast – Time Songs from October of 2007.
Brian Hasbrook brought the idea to Tom Thompson and me, so we individually collected songs from our memory bank and our research then came together to record our podcast to discuss the songs we found and to remember stories of the artists of the songs.

I have thought about all the black artists that has touched our musical lives and realized black artists have been a major part of creating rock and roll. Here’s Part 5 of our 2010 Concert Blast Posts. This video takes you through our experiences in Memphis, TN with REO Speedwagon and Pat Benatar, in Nashville, TN at the Bridgstone Arena with the Scorpions and Ratt, Paul McCartney, as well as Crosby, Stills, and Nash with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. There was the Heart Concert at the Ryman, the Michael Bolton concert at the Wildhorse Saloon as well Hard Rockers Cinderella also at the Wildhorse Saloon. We also covered the Americana Music Festival shows from the Cannery which was a lot of fun!
