Eddie Money in Concert - Nashville, TN
Eddie Money returned to Nashville, TN on Friday May 13th 2011 for another performance at the World Famous Wildhorse Saloon. The guys from Concert Blast were more than excited about this show not only because of Eddie Money, but his opening act is one of our favorite live bands, The Stacie Collins Band. Mike Arnold, Brian Hasbrook, Tom Thompson, and James Downing were all on hand for an audio podcast of this fun night with several live clips.

Alter Bridge In Concert - Nashville, TN 5-11-2011
It was a Wednesday May 11th, 2011 in Nashville, TN and the Cannery Ballroom had a Sold-Out crowd ready to be a part of the Alter Bridge experience. Alter Bridge brought out the excitement in this crowd as fists were pumping in the air and voices were singing along to nearly every song performed that night. The opener for the night, Like-A-Storm, warmed up this energetic crowd and then gave us an interview. Concert Blast had Mike Arnold, Tom Thompson, James Downing, and special guest host, Ryan Stapleton on hand to provide this audio podcast.

Like A Storm with Concert Blast
The publicist for Like-A-Storm (Lena Wilson) contacted Concert Blast for us to cover their Nashville, TN opening slot for Alter Bridge. We usually don’t cover up and coming bands, but after researching these guys, we discovered they had a great story of how they moved to Canada from New Zealand and in a few short years recorded an album and found themselves opening for Creed on a U.S. tour. So we had to cover these guys! Mike Arnold, Tom Thompson, James Downing, and special guest host Ryan Stapleton (a huge Alter Bridge fan and who also lived in New Zealand for a year) covered the night. A fun interview will also be on our Concert Review Podcast. For now, enjoy the photos!

Stryper In Concert - Michael Sweet
On Friday March 18th, team members from Concert Blast were on hand to report on the Stryper concert at the Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville. Brian Hasbrook and James Downing produced a fun audio podcast of the evening discussing the band, talking with fans before and after the show, and walking through the setlist as they discuss the concert review.

Rick Springfield In Concert - Nashville, TN
It was Friday March 11, 2011 when Rick Springfield made his yearly appearance to the Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville, TN to perform his energetic rock set for the fans who came in from various cities on the east coast.
Mike Arnold and James Downing of Concert Blast were on hand to record a concert review audio podcast on the evening. Since Brian Hasbrook and Tom Thompson were out of town, they invited one of their friends to join them as a special guest host, singer/songwriter/performer Donna Frost. During the concert review discussion, long-time Concert Blast friend Sue Street joined them for the discussion.

I have thought about all the black artists that has touched our musical lives and realized black artists have been a major part of creating rock and roll. Here’s Part 5 of our 2010 Concert Blast Posts. This video takes you through our experiences in Memphis, TN with REO Speedwagon and Pat Benatar, in Nashville, TN at the Bridgstone Arena with the Scorpions and Ratt, Paul McCartney, as well as Crosby, Stills, and Nash with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. There was the Heart Concert at the Ryman, the Michael Bolton concert at the Wildhorse Saloon as well Hard Rockers Cinderella also at the Wildhorse Saloon. We also covered the Americana Music Festival shows from the Cannery which was a lot of fun!
