Mike Arnold and Tom Thompson of Concert Blast were ready to see their New Zealand friends again when Like A Storm headed to Nashville, TN as the opener for Creed latest tour. The Brooks brothers (Chris, Matt, and Kent) of Like A Storm (along with a touring drummer) opened the night to get the Sunday night crowd at the Ryman Auditorium into a hard rockin’ mood for a night of fun as Creed ended the night on a “Higher” note. Alter Bridge In Concert - Nashville, TN 5-11-2011
It was a Wednesday May 11th, 2011 in Nashville, TN and the Cannery Ballroom had a Sold-Out crowd ready to be a part of the Alter Bridge experience. Alter Bridge brought out the excitement in this crowd as fists were pumping in the air and voices were singing along to nearly every song performed that night. The opener for the night, Like-A-Storm, warmed up this energetic crowd and then gave us an interview. Concert Blast had Mike Arnold, Tom Thompson, James Downing, and special guest host, Ryan Stapleton on hand to provide this audio podcast.

Like A Storm with Concert Blast
The publicist for Like-A-Storm (Lena Wilson) contacted Concert Blast for us to cover their Nashville, TN opening slot for Alter Bridge. We usually don’t cover up and coming bands, but after researching these guys, we discovered they had a great story of how they moved to Canada from New Zealand and in a few short years recorded an album and found themselves opening for Creed on a U.S. tour. So we had to cover these guys! Mike Arnold, Tom Thompson, James Downing, and special guest host Ryan Stapleton (a huge Alter Bridge fan and who also lived in New Zealand for a year) covered the night.
