Although I am a fan of Train, I am not fanatic about any artist. Some fans love everything their favorite artist records. I never understood that and that is definitely not me! In fact since I am such a huge fan, when listening and reviewing their music and concerts, I will be much more particular on what my favorite band from this century produces.

Pat Benatar, actually Patricia Mae Andrzejewski, wrote her “thus far” life story in her recent book, “Between a Heart and a Rock Place.” Pat takes the reader not only on her life’s musical journey, but also through her childhood in New York, being as tough as the boys her age as well as being a very charming girl… then growing up to become a military wife that led to a broken marriage. The book described Pat growing into a tough woman who knew what she always wanted in life, especially when she met the guitarist in her band, Neil Giraldo.

The main guitarist of the Rolling Stones, Keith Richards, wrote a book about his life simply called… “Life”. This is our first book review on Concert Blast and we may have more to follow.
Keith Richards’ book, Life is appropriately named due to that is exactly what it is, a journey through his life. The book begins as he and Ron Wood are being arrested in Arkansas as they are driving their rental car to the next city during one of the many Rolling Stones tours… and they have plenty of drugs on them, in them, and in the car.
